How to use this page
The tool shows the current time and date in Central Europe, the Abbreviation in use (CET or CEST, with its full name), the UTC offset, the Next change with the date the clocks move, and Your time with the difference from your zone.
To convert, enter a Time and a Date in Central European Time under Convert a time. The same moment elsewhere lists that moment in the UK, Eastern Europe, New York, Los Angeles, India, Dubai and Tokyo, plus your own zone.
Countries on Central European Time
Most of the European Union uses CET in winter and CEST in summer: Germany, France, Italy, mainland Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden and Malta. So do Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, Vatican City, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. Algeria and Tunisia use UTC+1 all year without summer time. Portugal, the Canary Islands and the UK are one hour behind; Greece, Finland and Romania are one hour ahead on Eastern European Time.
