Reporting an error
Every tool has a Report an error button. It opens your email app with a message that already contains the address of the page, and nothing else. To help find the problem quickly, please add:
- What you entered, as far as you are comfortable sharing it (for example “from 31 January 2026, add 1 month”).
- What you expected, and where that expectation comes from (another tool, an official calendar, a contract).
- What you got from Chronira.
- Your browser and device, if the problem looks like a display issue.
Never send personal information you do not want to share. A report rarely needs a real date of birth or a name: an example date that shows the same problem works just as well.
How corrections work
Reports are checked against the rules described in the methodology and the official sources. Sometimes a result is correct but follows a different convention, such as whether the start date is counted; in that case the reply explains the convention and how to change it in the tool, where an option exists. When an error is confirmed, it is fixed, and changes to calculation rules or data are recorded in the changelog.
Reports about Islamic dates are welcome, but please note that dates of Ramadan and Eid are shown as expected dates on the Umm al-Qura calendar. A country-specific difference is added only once it has been officially announced.
Other messages
Suggestions for new tools, languages or holiday calendars, accessibility problems and privacy questions can all be sent to the same address. Chronira is maintained by an independent developer, so replies may take a few days.
